What is EduVNC
EduVNC is a tool to remotely view and / or control a Windows desktop using a web browser. See Screen shots or read about EduVNC.
How does it work
You install and configure EduVNC on the computer you want to access remotely. When you are away from your computer and want to access it, you can. Using any web browser you visit your computer, enter a password, and you can then remotely see and control the desktop. There is no client software to install: no browser based downloads, no Java applet to run, and no Active-X control. EduVNC only uses HTML and JavaScript which lets EduVNC work on locked down computers where you are not administrator.
Get EduVNC
We've set up a walk though to guide you in getting EduVNC up and running on you computer at Get EduVNC. If you want to dive right in just download EduVNC.

EduVNC Requirements
EduVNC should run on any Windows computer with the .NET Framework installed (all recent computers). It has been tested on Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7. Other Windows versions with .Net should work equally well. In some cases firewall configuration may be necessary to allow remote access, please see the Install page for more details.
Basic Use
Basic use consists of creating a service, configuring the features you want to use, and clicking start. Then from any web browser visit http://computername:port to see the desktop (replacing port with the port you configured and computer name with the IP address or DNS name of your computer).
