Use Balloon Notification

A small balloon notification will appear above the tray icon when a client visits the log on page. The notification will contain the client IP and service name they are connecting to. The behavior will very with the configuration of the Hide Tray Icon and Force Balloons While Hidden features. See #Additional Notes below for more information.

Balloon notification will not be displayed by this service.
Registry Information
HKLM\Software\EduVNC contains ServiceName\UseBalloons which is the check box state. Valid values are:
- True: The box is checked. Balloon notification will be displayed
- False: The box is unchecked. Balloon notification will not be displayed by this service.
- If value is undefined or other: The box defaults to False.
Additional Notes
Displaying balloon notifications above the tray icon depends on the tray icon being visible with the Hide Tray Icon feature. If that feature is disable then the balloon will not display by default, even when enabled. You can overcome this with the Force Balloons While Hidden feature.
